This presentation will focus on how to build ad-hoc queries in ESSENCE. In addition to teaching the basic mechanics of building queries, the presentation will explore advanced techniques for building complex queries to find specific case definitions in the data.

Wayne Loschen is a Software Engineer at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU/APL). He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an M.S. in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University. He is the technical lead for ESSENCE.
