Amy Kelsey will continue the ISDS Meaningful Use webinar series by discussing Missouri's experience with inpatient EHR data.  Her talk will first introduce Missouri's Reporting Rule, as well as Missouri's experience with ESSENCE and BioSense.  Following that, Amy will delve into analytic specifics of message sending and receiving and how these messages improve and enhance surveillance efforts in the state.  Finally, she will provide anecdotes to highlight the effectiveness and importance of inpatient data syndromic surveillance in the event of an emergency.
